Comparison of 1-Panel vs 2-Panel Shutters

Our wood plantation shutters are built to span window widths of 36” as as single panel. Polywood and composite shutters from other manufacturers are limited to 26” in width and must be built as a 2-panel configuration for a 35” window. Our standard recommendation is to use as few of panels as possible, in order to maximize views and provide a cleaner, modern aesthetic. However, we are able to build smaller windows as 2-panel configurations if desired.
